This week, I will be posting about the five senses of personal and professional development: Sense of Purpose, Sense of Direction, Sense of Self, Sense of Humor and Common Sense. These five senses are intrinsic to our journey to being who we are personally and professionally.

Sense of Purpose is what motivates us to drive forward toward our goals in life. Each one of us was born with unique gifts and passions. When we’re living our life utilizing those, not just for ourselves and our own pleasure, but for the good of the world around us, it is then we have realized our sense of purpose. Think about those things you do consistently that bring you joy. When it brings you joy and feels natural, that’s a good indicator of being in alignment with you areas of strength and what you are passionate about.

Knowing your life purpose is the first step toward living a truly conscious life. A life purpose provides us with a clear goal, a set finish line that you truly want to reach. Simon Foster, What is My Purpose?
