It is human nature to want to be great, liked, popular, accomplished and many even want to be famous, believing that fame, money and power is the ultimate achievement to be happy and fulfilled. In reality, true happiness only comes when you are happy with who you’ve become and are comfortable and confident in your own skin. True happiness comes from knowing that who you’ve become is enough. This is why it is important to continually focus on personal development by doing self assessments. Are you impacting the world around you in a positive way, or are you instead engaging in the destructive behavior of gossip, pessimism and negativity?
“You cannot be lonely if you like the person you’re alone with.”
― Wayne W. Dyer
“One of the greatest regrets in life is being what others would want you to be, rather than being yourself.”
― Shannon L. Alder
